Boom 💥 been looking to order for awhile, not sure why I waited so long, the units are smooth. Cast a mile and weighted perfect balance. If you fish florida or anywhere we know holding a bulky heavy reel while it slow just plan sucks. With this reel it actually turns a slow day around as I just like to cast it and retrieve it. I have fished all the other top brands and have switched my arsenal to these. Heck even my wife who is not a huge fisher Noticed how smooth and durable these are. 10/10 recommend.

Although, it did take about 2-3 weeks to get it returned I would still say it felt pretty fast. And it was totally worth it the process was so easy and they returned the reel even more new than expected! Couldn’t give enough thanks!! Will now only be purchasing reels from Florida Fishing

Recently had my 8k's serviced and respooled with 65lb braid for cranking up snapper/grouper and controlling big tarpon. On the first time or two chasing big red snapper with the drag cinched down fairly tight, the line was digging into the spool pretty decent almost like it was spooled a little loose. This is my first time running 65lb braid on these reels so not sure if that's just to be expected with heavy heavy braid or not. Previously, I ran 50lb Diawa J Braid and never noticed that issue when I had my local tackle guys spool the reels.
After a hiccup with UPS routing my reels all over the country before finally getting to FFP HQ, service was turned around quicker than quoted. The original Osprey 8k I had was returned looking and functioning like a brand new Resolute. My Resolute 8k was returned cleaned up after a relatively basic service and ready for action. The whole process was straightforward and a piece of cake.
I will say, within a month or so of getting the reels back, the knob on the Resolute's handle came off. I'm not sure it's related to the service because the reel had handled some 20lb red snapper just fine shortly after the service.
I plan to reach out to the team to discuss the reel handle and I'm sure they'll take care of it!
The handle is silky smooth but a bit narrow. It feels more disk like than a knob.
Absolutely cant speak highly enough about the Bahia. I purchased 2 4000 reels for some 7'6" custom rods I built. They are fantastic and performance is amazing especially for the price point.
Had a client take apart one of my Salos reels to "fix" it. Somehow he lost parts and made the reel unusable. The reels are used almost daily so a fast turnaround was greatly appreciated! Its as good as new!
This is my 3rd one I purchased, super durable and great drags. I’ll be ordering another one soon.
Reel was turned around in about two weeks which is much faster than if I went somewhere local. Great price with shipping and all replaced parts included. Will definitely use the service again.
Been using my Bahia 3k for little over year now and much to say I love it. It has become my to go reel and that’s why it was a no-brainer to purchase a power knob to come with it, I love this product I am a life long FFP purchaser.
I was given a solid black walker at a tackle shop and asked to give it a try…I use another brand almost exclusively…this morning I did give it a try…in daylight , after sunup…and it kept getting strikes .It out fished my favorite and it wasn’t close…unfortunately a large chopper bluefish ate it and cut it off, that is why I am here ordering it…
Excellent products cant go wrong with any item from FFP these reels are the smoothest i have ever used. Scale from 1 to 10 id say 15.

super cool reel. i normally fish 5ks for snook and tarpon. this is my first “light” reel but this thang whoops absolute ahh. landed some nice micro tarpon and 30” snook on it. im genuinely so surprised with the performance. drag knob has been a little sticky since day one but it probably just needs to get broken in some more
Bought 6 Salos 2500 and couldn’t be happier with them. Been in constant use for about two months now and have held up to over slot Redfish, some decent Snook and plenty of drag testing fish.
As a full time branding guy in the fishing industry, I use the mess out of my reels. This reel is absolutely bad to the bone. Smooth, strong, sleek, checks all the boxes. Can't recommend these reels enough. 6 stars. FFP rocks.

Osprey V-2. Great reel so far. Have used multiple times in fresh water and 3 full days of saltwater use as well. Very nice, no issues. Comparing it with the Shimano Stradic (Vanford) reels I own, I really like the Osprey and Salos better. The reels perform just as well (actually better imo) and the feel at the handle seat is perfect. The bend in the shimano is too tight to the rod and pinches my knuckles as I hold the rod. The Osprey is extremely comfortable and action is smooth as silk. Casts great and awesome drag. Will likely replace all of my other spinning reels with FFP reels as my budget allows.
