I’ve fished with a lot of spinning reels in my 30years plus of guiding and none have proven as durable and reliable as the FFP Resolute series. I have yet to send my first Resolute 6000 in for service even after a full saltwater submersion and close to three years of use and abuse. I’m sold.

I have caught numerous tarpon on this reel, some very big ones. Plan on using it for jigging for bluefin and yellowfin tuna. No hook-ups yet but that 49 pound drag will be interesting

Tough reels!

Use all resolutes on my charter boat, and absolutely love them. Hold up very well day after day and I am very confident whenever I put them in my clients hand that it will handle whatever they hook up to! The 6000s have been great for the bill reds and big jacks!

After receiving my Resolute reels, just days after placing the order, I immediately put them to work. This reels are pure joy to fish. They are light weight, smooth, durable and retrieve line quickly. I am now changing out all of my reels to FFP.
