Bahia Baitcaster

My first BC I ever purchased, was looking into them for a while and decided to give it a try. Once you learn how to dial in it, this reel while make your lure fly. I have caught plenty of redfish and speckled trout and hold up exceptionally well especially when the large reds start to pull drag. Only thing I don’t like is the drag doesn’t have a clicker but that’s preference I guess for the adrenaline rush!

Great reel for inshore fishing

At 56 years old I have used bait casters since I was a kid bass fishing the lake of Orlando. Was unsure how the Bahia would handle the inshore fish of Islamorada. Like a BOSS it did paired up with my Bulls Bay rod. So pleased with this set up, quickly became my go to.

Great reel

I’ve been putting this Bahia 150BC through some fantastic Texas fishing down south the past 6 months. Very impressed with this reel, build quality and smooth casts, picking apart my targeted area and letting the drag do its thing. Great prices point for a quality reel. Highly recommended for all anglers!!

Hands down one of the best baitcasters I’ve used in a long time, it’s a simple reel to use, and has held up amazingly to saltwater abuse. The only change I would make to it is just the size of the body, other then that the gears, handle, and the reel itself is perfect!

Love my Ospreys and great customer service, so when I needed to replace my baitcaster I selected FFP. The handle feels really cheap, thin, poorly made. That’s my biggest complaint. For the most part is casts ok, but requires constant adjustment of tension to avoid birdnests.
Sorry guys. I’ll continue to replace my spin tackle with your product, but cannot recommend this baitcaster

Awesome reel that preforms just as good if not better than the high dollar companies. Super smooth and easy to dial in to your needs with a great drag system.
