15# Distance Braid

This line lives up to its name. It casts smooth and far.

Good value

I've been using the 20 and 30 lb. Distance braid for about two months now. It seems to hold up very well. No undue fraying (abrasion) or snags. Passes through the eyelets smoothly. Good product. Very convenient when purchasing a reel to just have them spool it for you for $25.

Wind knots

This line is longest and smoothest casting braid that I have ever used but the wind knots are way too many to deal with
The reels are excellent but the braid not so much

Braided Line Spooling

I was sceptic about using the option at first but glad I did. The braid is great for my Res-5000.I tied on a 30 in 40 lb mono leader and a # 2 circle hook. Used 3-4 inch white bait {virtually no weight at all} and was able to cast 40-50 ft to the mangroves easily . Very impressed with distance performance and durability.

Kite string

Wind knots galore…might as well have used kite string. Re spooled with power pro.

The Beast of Braid

We have been fishing Distance Braid on our Charters & personal rigs since it originated. Our setups range from Osprey CE 2500’s to Resolute 4000’s both lined with Distance Braid 20# & 30# respectfully. This braid goes the distance casting at redfish on the flats to sight fishing monster Tripletail open water. We went a step further with the Distance braid hooking 120#+ Tarpon on artificial lures….Outstanding performance & unbreakful facts!!!

Great Product

Although I keep bulk line on hand the braid from FFP preloaded on new reels allows me to unbox, mount the reel and start fishing with no delay, it’s a nice value added service which is cost effective at a very moderate upcharge. The braid is supple, casts nice, and strong. I recommend it to my custom build Rod clients and fellow anglers.

Awesome Product

I have used many braided lines and stock several in bulk but I must say the FFP braids are the best you will find, they cast smooth and there is a noticeable difference in distance as well as very sensitive to the bite. Highly recommended.

Knots

The line knotted 4 out of the first 10 casts. Love the real and rod.
